Vrogum are participating in the Danish Pavilion at the Ecobuild exhibition at Earl’s Court. Just a few hours into the three-day show they declared their presence a success.

“I have already made some very useful contacts this morning, and there are big, interesting projects in the pipeline,” said John B. Jørgensen, sales and marketing director of high quality wooden window and door manufacturer, Vrøgum A/S.

The company entered the UK market in 2002. Since then, there has been a huge increase in demand for environmentally sustainable building materials, and at Ecobuild 2008, John Jørgensen has noticed a particular interest in ‘passive house’ windows that contribute to lowering energy consumption.

“We will definitely be back here next year,” he said.
Sustainability has become the buzzword of the UK construction sector, and the increasing popularity of the Ecobuild trade show is but one example of this trend.

The Danish Pavilion at Ecobuild has been organised by the Embassy of Denmark and forms part of its climate change strategy.
